Joyce Prichard Mcdowell

Joyce Prichard McDowell, 70, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2020. She was a lifelong resident of the area and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed coloring, watching soap operas and doing word searches. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, RB and Ezna Shelton Prichard; and brother, Eddie Prichard.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Billy Barker; daughters, Danielle (Ricky) Gresham and Jennifer Lay; sister, Wanda Barker; brother, Gary Prichard; granddaughters, Marilyn (Jamie) Wilford and Carolyn Green; great-grandchildren, Hunter Dodson, Jada Barker, Lana Gresham, Aubrey Lane, Braden Farris, Layla Green, Payton Gresham, Kynslie Green, Rylynn Lay, Paige Gresham, and Alley McDowell; and caregiver, Marlene Morrow.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 from 5:00PM until 6:00PM in the Chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will begin at 6:00PM.
