Joshua Wilson

Joshua Wilson, the son of Larry and Frances Wilson, was born on November 25, 1977, in Chattanooga, TN. He attended Grace Baptist Academy, Bradley High School, and Lee University where he studied pastoral ministries. While at Lee, he was in Campus Choir and a proud fraternity brother of Theta Delta Kappa. At an early age, Josh professed his faith in Jesus and was an active member of the youth group at North Cleveland Church of God. Josh loved to sing, play piano and guitar, cheer for his TN Vols, and valued people of all walks of life. Josh enjoyed debating theology and shared his love for Christ to anyone at any time.

His family and friends will forever cherish his life and legacy. He is survived by his parents, Larry and Frances Wilson; his sister Angela Sluss; brother in law Jason Sluss; nephews Elijah and Josiah; nieces Ava and Joy; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whom he considered brothers.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 23rd from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00pm and on Friday, August 24th at 10:00 a.m. until the service time at 12:00pm. The funeral will be officiated by Rev. Mitch Maloney and Rev. Mark Williams. It will be held at North Cleveland Church of God at 12:00 on Friday, August 24th. Family and Friends are welcome to attend a short graveside service at Sunset Gardens immediately after the funeral.

The arrangements will be handled by Companion Funeral Home in Cleveland, TN.
