Josh Daniel Witte

Josh Daniel Witte, age 58, of Georgetown, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 4, 2019. He was born August 25, 1961 in Great Falls, Montana to the late Robert and Delores Witte. Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Pam; sons, Brendon and Brett Witte; and siblings, Jeff (Lynn) Witte, Carla (Joe) Peterman, Vickie (Rick) Moore, and Kathy (Gary) Tome; along with many nieces and nephews.

Josh was perhaps best known for his unique sense of humor, coloring everything with laughter. Yet also enjoyed encouraging the neglected, helping the widows and uplifting the chronically sick.

A proud Army veteran and former General Contractor, he loved his Lord and highly valued the duty and privilege of making disciples. To that end, Josh was developing a carpentry-based program where young men could emulate his Savior, the Master Carpenter, Jesus.

He was greatly loved and will be missed.

A memorial to honor him will be held Friday, November 8, 2019 at 3:00 p.m., at Companion Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bruce Daugherty officiating. The family will receive friends between 1:00 – 3:00 prior to service.
