John Edwin "Ed" Goins

John Edwin “Ed” Goins, 80, originally of Cleveland, TN passed away on April 18, 2016 at a healthcare facility in Marietta, GA as a result of Alzheimer’s. He was born on September 4, 1935 to the late Isaac and Nora Goins. Ed was a lifelong resident of this area and a forty year member of Clingan Ridge Baptist Church. Ed was a master craftsman and enjoyed camping, making western boot bird houses, picking blackberries, and spending time with his family and his two pugs “Dixie” and “Belle.”
In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by one brother Denver Goins and two sisters Edith Brown and Dorothy Self.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 58 years Blanche Goins, daughters Venitia Smith and Kim Gribble (Mike); sisters Louise Turner and Nadine Kinser; and brother in law Boyce Graham.
