John Bryant

John F Bryant, age 69, resident of Cleveland passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2021 at a Chattanooga Hospital. John was an avid bowler and played golf. He bowled for 40 years and in many City, State, and National tournaments, with an average score of 200. He really enjoyed his bowling family; they were his family.
John worked for 40 years at Astex of Chattanooga. He had many good friends at Astex, including Jimmy, Dog, and many others. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather. John was also a good friend to anyone who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William (Bill) and Jenelle (Reedes) Bryant; his brother, Billy Bryant Jr.; and his son, Jonathan Bryant.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 40 years and best friend Barbara (Bobby) (Miracle) Bryant; and his son, Bobby Bryant.
John was a member of Washington Ave. Baptist Church. He loved bowling, golf, His family, and his grandchildren, Aiden, Bella, Peyton; his brother, Joel Bryant, and his family, as well as his sister Peggy Flowers and her family, along with Jane (Bryant) Wilson and her husband Steve, and their children; and his brother-in-law Carl Miracle and his wife Patricia, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will be receiving friends on Friday, February 5, 2021 from 4 to 8 pm at Companion funeral Home of Cleveland. The service will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 10:00 am with Richard Mason officiating. The interment will follow at Cotton Port Baptist Church Cemetery in Decatur, Tennessee.
