John Anthony Mcdowell

John Anthony “Tony” McDowell, 59, of Cleveland went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. Tony enjoyed gardening and encouraging others through card ministry.

He was preceded in death by a brother Kevin Dunn, maternal grandparents Eugene and Erma McDowell of Maysville, KY.

Survivors include his loving mother Rosie Dunn; sisters Patty Cooper (Marc), Robin Dobbins, Michelle (Terry) Denton, nieces Katerra Dunn, Sheree Dobbins, nephews Marc Cooper, Joshua (Jennifer) Denton and great nieces Harper Hitson, Emery Dunn, McKenna Denton, and one great nephew Boston Layne. He also leaves behind several friends and extended family.

The family will receive friends and family from 2pm to 4pm on Sunday December 12, 2021 at Clingan Ridge Baptist Church with a funeral to follow at 4pm. Rev. Chuck Preston will be officiating. Tony will be laid to rest at 2pm on Monday December 13th at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
