Jimmy Sutton

James Thomas “Jimmy” Sutton, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 14, 2020. He was a resident of the area for over 47 years. He was of the Church of God faith and attended Michigan Avenue Church of God. He loved Jesus and reading his Bible. He enjoyed watching drag racing, golfing and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Wanda Sutton; parents, Frank and Marie Sutton; and sister, Gene Miller.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory children, Brenda (Danny) Sutton and Keith (Lynn) Sutton; siblings, Leon Sutton of Florida, Vernon Sutton and Donnie Sutton; grandchildren, Camill (Robbie) Howard, Kaytlin (Andrew) Sherlin, Cory (Sasha) Sutton and Holly Sutton; as well as 10 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM on Friday, July 17, 2020 in the Chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 8:00PM with Pastor Wesley Choplin officiating.
