Jayne G. Miller

Jayne G. Miller, 90, a current resident of St. Petersburg, Fl and formally of Athens, TN passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 in a Clearwater, FL hospital. Jayne was born in Lorain, OH on February 17, 1928 a daughter of the late Joseph & Lucille Gagliardi. She was resident of Athens for many years and a member of the Woodward Avenue Church of God. Jayne was known for her love for the Lord and was a faithful prayer warrior. She also served as a missionary in Puerto Rico.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by an infant son, two sisters Pat and Dorys along with two brothers Joe and Bob.
Jayne is survived by her children Becki and David, eight grandchildren Chelsea, Michael, Savannah, Cayci, Colby, Kailey, Zaire and Madison, two great grandchildren Rhett and Beau, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A celebration of her life is planned for Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 7:00 PM in the Athens chapel of Companion Funeral located at 400 S White Street with the Dr. Chris Thomas and the Reverend Zachary Davis officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until the 7:00 PM service time.
The family will gather at the funeral home on Wednesday morning, January 23, 2019 at 11:30 AM and process to Hammonds Cemetery for the 12:00 noon interment and committal service.
