James Michael “Tooter” Cheatham, 45, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on Monday October 31st, 2016. Tooter was a member at the East Side Church of Christ. He was a well-known boxer for many years. Tooter was a hard working self-employed businessman who was known and loved by many. He always loved everyone around him, but more than anything, he loved his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Miranda “Mandy” Harvey Cheatham; children, Jade Cheatham (Christopher Bivens) and Jeris Cheatham; parents, Larry Cheatham (Tracy) and Connie Chambers; grandmother, Zelma Holt; brother, John Loach; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lester and Deborah Johnson; special friends, Chip Chase, Johnny Holden, and Phillip Crye, as well many other good friends.
A celebration of life memorial gathering will be held from 2:00pm-4:00PM on Saturday November 5th, 2016 in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW.
