James Edward Filyaw, 67, of Birchwood, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2014. James was born on January 20th, 1947 to the late Bessie Lowe Filyaw and Roy Lee Filyaw Sr.
Along with his parents, James is preceded in death by his son, James William Filyaw and his sister, Alice Faye Filyaw.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughters Tracy Shadden (Curtis Helton) and Tera Ford (Richard); his brother Roy Lee Filyaw Jr.; his sisters Ella Ruth Lanier and Rachel Harden; his daughter-in-law Jena Filyaw; as well as 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no public service at this time.
