James E. Finley

James “Jim” Edward Finley passed away on November 6, 2020. He was a member of Berean Baptist Church in Cleveland, TN and retired from Bradley County Nursing Home. Jim was a veteran of the United States Army.
Preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Lola M. Finley of Cleveland, TN; granddaughter, Destiny Head of Cleveland, TN; parents, John and Martha Finley; siblings, Roy Finley, Edna Moody, Joyce Cretton, Paul Finley, Charles Finley and John “Bud” Finley, all of IL.

James is survived by his wife of 6 years, Fay Finley; son, James Finley, Jr., of Cleveland, TN; daughter, Sandra (Terry) Flood, of Chatsworth, GA; stepson, David Goforth, of Polk County, TN’ stepdaughter, Patty Bear , of Cleveland, TN; grandsons, Robert (Amy) Lynn, of Cleveland, TN, James (Stephanie) Finley, III, of Cleveland, TN, Brandon (Mary Beth) Flood, of Hahira, GA; granddaughter, Brittany Flood, of Chatsworth, GA; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Sarah and Hannah Lynn; many special nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 9, 2020 at Mt Pleasant Cemetery off Mount Pleasant Road in Whitfield County, GA with Pastor Roger Wagner officiating.
