James Douglas Gaddis

James Douglas Gaddis, 70, passed away on April 19, 2020. He was born to the late John and Elina Gaddis on November 25, 1949 in Athens, TN. He was of Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, JoAnn Dockins and Linda McKinn; and 2 brothers, Paul Wilcox and Elmer Gaddis.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Barbara Gaddis; sons, James Allen Gaddis and Timothy Brian (Rachel) Gaddis; sister, Barbara (Jim) Pate; brother, Donnie (Freida) Gaddis; grandchildren Hailey Ann Gaddis, Braxton Vigil and Kristy Lynn Gaddis.

The family will hold a private service with a burial in the Chattanooga National Cemetery. A Celebration of Life Service will be live streamed at 12:00PM on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 on our website at www.companionfunerals.com or the Companion Funeral Home Facebook page.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Shady Springs Church located at 161 Mountain Drive, Old Fort, TN 37363.
