James Benson Butler, Jr.

James Benson Butler,Jr. , “Benny”, passed away December 3, 2021. Born February 2, 1952.

He loved music, going fishing, Clemson Football, and drinking his diet mountain dew and eating his cheese puffs, also of the Baptist faith. He was joined in Heaven by his only sister, Dorothy Mae Kirby. Survived by his daughters, Rebecca Butler, Stacey Crain, and Angel Childress; grandchildren, Randy Crain, Josh Crain, Taylor, Ethan, and Riley, all of South Carolina; niece, Wendy Moody; nephew, Michael Kirby; 4 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021, 4:00 PM, at Companion Funeral Home, with visitation prior to the Memorial Service, from 11:00 AM-4:00 PM with Gary Pryior officiating.
