Jackie Cooper White

Jackie Cooper White, 82, a lifelong resident of the Cleveland area peacefully left his earthly home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, November 28, 2018. Jack was a 3 year letterman and star athlete at Bradley Central high school where he was a captain on the football team. Jack was later inducted into the Oldtimers Hall of Fame at Bradley high school in 2006. He attended Memphis State where he received a Football scholarship. He then went on to become a world champion Speed Boat Racer, a 4 time Golden Glove Champion, and Motorcycle enthusiast. Jack became a licensed pilot before the loss of his leg in a Harley Davidson motorcycle accident in 1963. He later owned Whites Marine store for 23 years. He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Kermit and Dorothy May White; brother, William “Bug” White; niece, Luanne White Helms.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Nancy Hudson White; children, Gregory Cooper White (Patricia), Kimberly Michelle White; grandchildren, Casey Raoul Pelletier (Leilani), Chelsea Lou Pelletier, Bella White, and Chapman Sellars; great grandchildren, Brandon, Dylan, Cody, Macy, Keilan, and Kylie; brothers, Bobbie and Samuel White and sister, Alecia Harned, and their loving spouses; his loving K9 Companion, Lilly; along with many more nieces, nephews, and extended family.
There will be a celebration of life memorial gathering held Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 4-6pm at Companion Funeral Home: Cleveland Chapel.
