Glenda Gail Kirtland

Glenda Gail Kirtland, 72, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Tuesday evening, August 25, 2020 at her home. She was born in Gadsden, AL on July 27, 1948 a daughter of the late Alfred & Emma Lois Lasseter.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by an infant son Johnathon Kirtland and one brother Danny Lasseter.

Glenda leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 53 years Sylvester Kirtland Jr., one son Matthew Kirtland and his wife Dixie, two daughters Redetha Bottoms and her husband Tommy and Rita Lowe and her husband Maurice, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 27, 2020 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM in the Cleveland chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland, TN.

The funeral service will follow the visitation time on Thursday at 3:00 PM with the Reverend Floyd Boggess officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
