Gertrude Dorothy Waters

Gertrude Dorothy Waters, 95, of Georgetown, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 24, 1924 in Oshkosh, WI. She was a member of the Bowman Hills Seventh Day Adventist Church. She retired from Realist Company in Berlin, WI.
Gertrude was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years Stanley William Waters, Sr.; mother - Dorothy Nielsen; sisters - Irene Olson and Charlotte Salzieder-Grundy; brother - Mike Mueller.
Gertrude is survived by her son, Stanley Waters, Jr.; daughters – Charyl (Joel) Severson, Gloria (Greg) Klemp and Debra (Jon) Gravell; Grandchildren – Stanley Waters III, Gina Klemp-Koston, Greg (Debi) Klemp Jr., Jason (Christina) Gravell; Jeremy (Jordan) Gravell, Jared Gravell; several great, great-great, and a few great-great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was so grateful for her hospice of Chattanooga nurses, Julia, Kathleen, Randy and Latonia.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. She will be placed with her husband in the Chattanooga National Cemetery, awaiting Jesus’ second coming.
