Obituary
Georgia Aline Evans, 71, a lifelong resident of Bradley County passed away on Friday morning, September 4th, 2015 in a local hospital. Georgia was born on August 1st, 1944 in Cleveland, TN to the late George C. "Buss" & Dorothy D. Evans. She was of the Christian faith. Georgia was an avid listener of Country Music.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by an infant brother George Evans.

Georgia leaves behind to cherish her memory five siblings, Eddie Evans (Janet), Joe Evans, Buddy Evans (Suzie), Sharon Allen (Lee) and Ann Marler (Jim), ten nieces and nephews Shane Evans (Tonya), Justice Evans, Abigail Curry, Kim Bynum (Billy), Kristi Sims (Anthony), Kaylia Evans, Chris Allen ( Melissa), Jason Allen (Vanessa), Nicholas Allen (Tracey) and Sue Silvers (Randy), numerous great nieces, great nephews and other extended family members.

A celebration of her life is planned for Monday night, September 7th, 2015 at 7:00 PM in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland, TN with Chaplin Colby Goins officiating.

The family will receive friends on Monday night from 5:00 PM until the 7:00 PM service time.

We will gather on Tuesday morning, September 8th, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the Chilcutt United Methodist Cemetery for the graveside and committal service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Signature Health Care for their activities fund in Georgia's memory.
