Frankie Lee Jones

September 27, 1948 — April 17, 2022

Frankie Lee Jones age 73, went home to Heaven on Easter Sunday April 17, 2022. Her family waiting for her in Heaven is her son Frank Willingham, daughter Eva Willingham, sister Angel Worman, Mother Donmorita Eaton, and her grandparents that adopted her Frank and Mamie Steil.

She was born and raised in Rossville, Ga. She was a loving soulmate of Russell Jones for 36 years. She was the founder of the legendary “Putter Inn” in Middle Valley Tennessee. A loving mother and grandmother to many children, that will miss her greatly. She left behind her husband Russell Jones, her daughters Sonja Cloud, Kim (David) Collum, and Rhonda Willingham. Her sons John Rankin, Russell Jones Jr., Jason Jones, and Gene (Tara) Willingham, brother Butch (Dana) Ford along with lots and lots of grand and great grandchildren.

She also left behind many friends and family from Elizabeth City, North Carolina, Chattanooga, Tennessee, and shrimp boats off the Gulf Coast of Tampa Florida. She will be missed dearly by anyone who ever had the chance to meet her! “Love yesterday, today and forever” Jerimiah 31: 3, this verse represents Frankie so well as she always showed the love of Jesus to everyone she was around. She was a member of White Oak Baptist Church in Trenton, Georgia.

Her family will be holding a celebration of life service at Cloudland Canyon State Park, Rising Fawn, Georgia on April 30th. The service will be starting at 12:00pm eastern time under pavilion three followed by a picnic next to the breathtaking canyon views.
