Frances L. Hickman

Frances L. Hickman, 75, a lifelong resident of Georgetown, TN went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday afternoon, April 13th, 2016 with her family by her side. Frances was born on February 20th, 1941 a daughter of the late Roy “Stormy” & Ruby Marshall of Georgetown, TN. She was a member of Burdette Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister Robbie Dean Lawson of Georgetown and one brother Leroy Marshall of Charleston, TN. She is also preceded in death by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving and devoted husband of fifty five years Benny Hickman, three daughters Rena Strickland (Ricky) of Cleveland, TN, Tonya Green (Dean) of Cleveland, TN and Misty Knoll (Matt) of Georgetown, TN and one son Jamie Hickman (Kelly) of Cleveland, TN, five grandchildren that she adored Autumn Strickland, Christopher Strickland, Dakota Green, Lexi Knoll and Londyn Knoll, three brothers James Marshall of Georgetown, TN, Billy Joe Marshall of Atlanta, GA and Bobby Marshall (Eunice) of Georgetown, TN, numerous other extended family members including many nieces and nephews, church family and a host of special friends.
A celebration of her life is planned for Saturday, April 16th, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Burdette Baptist Church located at 1910 Blythe Ferry Road in Birchwood, TN 37308 with the Reverend James Staton and the Reverend David Evans officiating. Interment will follow in the Neeley Cemetery with Matt Knoll, Ricky Strickland, Dean Green, Christopher Strickland, Allen Lawson and Gary Lawson serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the church on Friday evening, April 15th, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and also one hour prior to the 1:00 service time on Saturday.
