September 25, 1945 — March 17, 2020

Eva Rosemary Paul, age 74 and a lifelong resident of Cleveland and Chattanooga, died at Tennova Hospital in Cleveland on March 17, 2020.
Rosemary was born in Chattanooga to Mary Genevieve Smith and Clyde Russell Kiningham. She graduated from Kirkman Technical High School in 1963. She married Cecil Yvonne Posey on April 2, 1965. They had two children, Walter Russell Posey and Ginger Anita Posey.

Rosemary married Edmund Frank Paul on November 24, 1985. She was very happy in this marriage; they lived in Collegedale, Tennessee most of their married life. After her husband’s death, Rosemary eventually moved to Cleveland to be near her family.
Being near her children was a big plus for her when she had frequent doctor appointments to address her health problems. Rosemary enjoyed working puzzles, cooking, and traveling--mainly short day trips with her daughter and family. She was a talented cook and always enjoyed taking a variety of dishes to family reunions. Everyone who knew Rosemary loved her laughter and enjoyment of life.
Rosemary is survived by her son, Walter Posey; her daughter Ginger Smith (husband Gary); her grandsons ,Joshua Smith (wife Michelle), Matthew Russell Posey (wife Mariah), Daniel Posey; great-grandchildren Landon Gary Smith, Jace Earl Smith, and Skye Anita Rose Smith; special great-niece Hannah Posey; numerous cousins.
Companion Funeral Service in Cleveland is handling the arrangements. Due to the restrictions imposed by the coronavirus outbreak, no service is planned at this time.
