Eunice Moore

Obituary

Eunice Moore, 88, of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away Saturday, September 12th at her home surrounded by family. She was born on April 25, 1927 to the late Filmore and Mary Wilson. Eunice was a member of New Zion Baptist in Etowah but attended Philippi Baptist Church after moving to Cleveland in 2006.

In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Theresa.

Survivors include her husband of 68 years Charlie Igene Moore; one loving daughter Mary Jean Ensley (Johnny); two granddaughters Beth Kiser (Steve), Laura Copeland (Blake); two great-grandsons Nathan Kiser (Katie) and Taylor Copeland; two sisters Jeanette Waldrop and Thursa Cantrell; several nieces and nephews; and two special caregivers Connie Litton and Tammy Bartlett.

The family will receive friends on Monday September 14, 2015 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW.

A celebration of life funeral service will be held at 4:00pm in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home with Dr. Sammy Hooker officiating.

Interment will follow the service in the New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Steve Kiser, Blake Copeland, Nathan Kiser, Taylor Copeland, Bob Blondell, Michael McCormack, and Greg Parker will serve as pallbearers and nephew J.R. Waldrop as an honorary pallbearer.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Philippi Baptist Church youth fund, 2325 Old Harrison Pike NW, Cleveland, TN 37311.
