Obituary
Elizabeth "Doris" Ward, 83, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Tuesday, May 12th, 2015 in a local hospital. Doris was born here in Cleveland on August 1st, 1931 a daughter of the late Ernest & Bessie Pedigo. She was of the Methodist faith and a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. Doris will forever be remembered for being and incredible and loving wife and mother.
In addition to her parents, Doris joins in her Heavenly home her son Alan Ward.
Doris leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband Hoyt Ward, one son and daughter-in-law Alex and Stephanie Ward, one niece Christie Belcher, one nephew Clay Grigsby, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A celebration of her life is planned for Thursday, May 14th, 2015 at 4:00 PM at the Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church located at 3405 Peerless Road in Cleveland, TN with the Reverend Ramon Torres officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Thursday afternoon, from 2:00 PM until the 4:00 PM service time.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made in Doris's memory to the Wesley Memorial United Methodist Food Pantry or Scholarship Fund.
