Edward Richard Baumuller

Edward Richard Baumuller, 82, of Charleston, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2022. Ed was born on February 16, 1940, in Brooklyn, New York to the late Edward Louis and Marie Sussman Baumuller. Ed was the commander of an American Legion post 59 in Charleston, South Carolina for five years, as well as the President of the Rifle Club of Charleston, South Carolina.

Along with his parents Ed was preceded in death by his brothers, Bob Baumuller, and Bill Baumuller.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Melba Baumuller; daughter, Brenda (Keith) Overstreet; his son, Glenn (Linda) Baumuller; his grandchildren, Shawn Overstreet, and Ashley Overstreet (Dereke) Mosley, Melissa Baumuller; great grandchildren, Lailah Overstreet, Nick Garner, Lucy Overstreet, and Leeyah Overstreet; his sisters in law, Lyn Baumuller, and Karin Baumuller; his brother, David Baumuller; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Companion Funeral Home of Cleveland.

A Graveside service will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022, at Chattanooga National Cemetery in Chattanooga, Tennessee at 1:30 pm with Reverend Guinn Green officiating.
