Obituary
Dorothea C. Carroll, 83, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Monday, April 14th, 2015 in a local hospital. Dorothea was born on June 19th, 1931 in Memphis, TN a daughter of the late Dellie & Dovie Burden. She was a well-known seamstress in this area.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two husbands Toy Sweeton and A. C. Carroll and two grandsons Chuck & Steve Sweeten.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory six daughters Linda Odom (Jim), Sarah Sweeten, Ruby Tinney, Susan Douthitt, Toyetta Edwards (Brent) and Gayle Gravitt, seventeen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, two great great granddaughters, three sisters Evelyn Prince, Jewel Patterson and Ethel McKnight, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday, April 18th, 2015 at 5:00 PM in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road in Cleveland, TN with Pastor Andrew Towe officiating.

The family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon from 3:00 PM until the 5:00 PM service time at the funeral home.
