Doris Joan Dixon

Doris Joan Dixon, 79, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family and friends. Doris grew up in Marion, Ohio before moving to Florida in 1965. She then moved to Tennessee five years ago. Doris is a devout Christian and was a member of the Kinser Church of God. She loved painting and baking in her spare time. Doris had a very generous spirit and loved helping others. She will be missed.
Doris is preceded in death by her mother Dovie Blankenship, and her father Charlie Blankenship along with her loving husband Don Dixon.
She is survived by her daughter Debbie; sons, Doug, Danny, and Darrin; brother, Hub Blankenship; sisters, Beverly Furniss, and Hazel Blankenship; and Grandchildren Deanna, Jared, and Jeremy.
The family will be having a memorial service on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Kinser Church of God. The visitation will be from 1:00PM to 2:00PM with the service at 2:00PM.
