Clifford Ray Shannon

Obituary: Clifford Ray Shannon, 64 of Old Fort, TN left his earthly home for his heavenly home on January 13, 2022. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. He was an avid dirt track and Nascar fan. Though he had many talents most of his life was spent as a truck driver. Before retiring he worked at Apple Valley Orchard with a special thank you to Chuck and Joy. He proudly served his country in both the U S Army and U S Navy. He was so proud of his family. He was a loving husband, Daddy, Papaw, brother and friend. He never met a stranger.

He was preceded in death by his parents Joe & Mae Shannon, In laws Ozzle & Martha Phillips, grandparents Tom & Rosie Shannon, George & Cedell Hardin, George Maxwell. Nephew Steven Smith. Son in Law Les Roberson. Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 46 years Lottie Diane Phillips Shannon. Daughters Cassie Shannon Roberson and Hollie (Mitchell Long) Shannon. Grandchildren Caylin Ray Hawkins (Hunter Myers), Alex Hawkins (Jasmin Cain), Zachery Roberson, Shaw Kertesz, Lorelei Kertesz, Patience Stephen, Haley (Monroe) Chinell, Meagan Roberson. Great Grandchildren Braylon Hawkins, Lakelynn Ray Myers, Hadleigh Myers, Josalyn Newport, Adamere Roberson and another great grandson due in April. Two sisters Linda (Bo) Killian, Lisa Byrd (Mitch). And his special fur baby Bunny.

His wishes were to be cremated which will be handled by Companion Funeral Homes. A memorial service to celebrate the life he shared with us on earth will be held at a later time. The announcement for it will be posted when it is planned.
