Chris Coppinger

Christopher “Chris” Laurence Coppinger, 53, a resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away on Thursday morning December 7, 2017. He was a 1982 graduate of Bradley Central High School. Chris loved being on the water. He was good at all the watersports and he loved jet-skis. Chris was also a natural athlete. He was known for always being able to pick up a new sport and being good at it. Chris was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
He is preceded in death by his father, T.E. Sonny Coppinger.
Chris leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving mother, Gretchen Coppinger; sister, Amy Coppinger; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 2:00pm until 3:30pm on Sunday December 10, 2017 at Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW.
Following the visitation, the family will hold an informal celebration of life service, where they welcome anyone who has good memories of Chris to share.
