Obituary

Chester James “Jimmy” Wyatt, Jr. passed away Monday, September 8, 2014, at Kindred Hospital in Chattanooga.

He joined the National Guard at the age of 16. At the age of 18 he joined the Navy, where he was a radioman that traveled all over the world. He was in the Navy for four years, and he enjoyed it very much.

He was preceded in death by his parents Chester James Wyatt Sr. and Virgie Wyatt, brothers Douglas Wyatt and Ed Geren, and sisters Norma Barnett and Linda.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 32 years, Loretta, of Cleveland, TN, his daughter, Jamie Speegle and her husband Jimmy, sons, Andrew Wyatt, J. R., Bruce, and Jeremy Wyatt, grandchildren, Clay, Tyler, Brandie, and Ashley, and great-grandchildren Haddie and Noah.

He was a truck driver for 40 years and will be remembered as the greatest “Johnny Mack Brown” on all the roads of the good ole United States. He had a good truck driving friend that traveled to California and back for a long time that was known as “Gold Sweat”.

He was a 3rd degree mason at the Limestone Lodge in Birchwood, TN.

A celebration of his life is planned for Thursday afternoon, September 11th, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland, TN located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland, TN. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday night, September 10th, 2014 in the funeral home chapel 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and also one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
