Obituary
Charlie Lonzo Woodby, 82, a resident of Turtle Town, TN passed away on Thursday, May 14th, 2015 at him home. He was born in Sweetwater, TN on October 22nd, 1932 a son of the late Freddie & Mae Woody. He was in the construction industry where he served as a team leader. He also was a grounds keeper for the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

He is also preceded in death by one son Darrell Lee Woodby, three sisters Irene Bright, Ruby Coleman & Brenda Wilson, two brothers James Woodby and Albert Woodby.

He is survived by his children Charles Michael Woodby of Rhode Island, Janice L. Woodby of Reesetown, Rosella K. Kaylor of North Carolina, Lorella Rudy Baliles of Reesetown, Phillip C. Woodby of Burgertown, Daniel Woodby of Maryland & Patricia Woodby of Pennsylvania and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life is planned for Monday, May 18th, 2015 at 12:00 PM in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland, TN. Interment will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Turtle Town, TN with Daniel McGow, Derrek Murray, Angela Morrow, Daniel Woodby, Tracey Woodby, Dewey Baliles, Wayne Stiles and Frances Stiles serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00AM until the 12:00 PM service time.
