Brenda Sue Clark

Brenda Sue Clark, 69, former resident of Cleveland, TN passed peacefully into Heaven on Wednesday, June 13, 2018. She was a woman of great faith, believing in the power and strength of Jesus Christ’s love and the beauty and peace that would await her after her passing. She was a strong prayer warrior for friends and family.

She was a member of the North Cleveland Church of God where she faithfully loved the Lord and made countless, cherished friends. Brenda was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Jim, for almost 48 years. Together they shared a life of love and made many wonderful memories.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Roberta Miller of Cleveland Tennessee, and brothers Frank and Ralph Howard.

She is survived by her beloved husband James (Jimmy) Clark. Survivors also include her son, Jonathan Clark and his wife, Jeneva; daughter, Lisa Williams and her husband Travis of Shawnee, Kansas; daughter Allison Hayes and her husband, Matt, of Brentwood, TN; son, Chris Painter and his wife Joyce of Cleveland; sisters Rebecca Green (husband Jack), JoAnne Webb Bryson (husband Jimmy), and brother Johnny Miller (wife Linda); her grandchildren, Victoria Swany, Elliott and Brynley Hayes, and Clark and William Harris as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4:00pm until 6:00pm on Sunday June 24, 2018 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A celebration of life service will be held at 12:00pm on Monday June 25th at North Cleveland Church of God Dixon Chapel located at 335 11th Street Cleveland, TN. Pastor Mitch Maloney will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00am until 12:00pm at the church prior to the service. Interment will follow at Lebanon Cemetery in Cleveland, TN.
