Billie Jane Roden

Billie Jane Roden, 78, a resident of Georgetown, TN, passed away on Wednesday October 5, 2016. She was retired from Cleveland Junior High School. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 50 years, Tom Roden; daughters, Teresa Thompson of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, and Cynthia Wheat of Birmingham, Alabama; grandsons, Trevor Strickland of Scottsboro, Alabama, and Buck Strickland, of Columbia, Tennessee; great-grandson, Isiah Strickland, of Scottsboro, Alabama; special nephew, Stacy Greene, of Cleveland, Tennessee; siblings, Bobby Davis, Tommy Davis, and Sherry Cross, as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5:00PM on Sunday October 9th, 2016 at the Gum Springs Baptist Church, located at 383 Gum Springs Road, Georgetown, Tennessee, with Pastor David Cross officiating the service.
The family will be receiving friends two hours prior to the service, from 3:00pm until the 5:00pm service time at the church.
