Betty Hogan Pritchard

Betty Hogan Pritchard, 81, of Harrison, TN, departed this life on Wednesday, July 6, at her home.
Born on April 13, 1941, to the late Jesse and Martha Hogan in Hamilton County, she was a lifelong resident of Harrison.
Betty graduated from Tyner High School. She was a Hamilton County Contracted Bus Driver for 29 years and proudly transported students for the school system to Tyner, Harrison Elementary, Brown Middle School, and Central High School. A few thousand students rode with Ms. Betty on Bus 102 during her time behind the wheel.

Betty was an avid fan of all sports but especially enjoyed UT football, UT basketball, Atlanta Braves baseball, and anything NASCAR. It was often said she knew the game better than most coaches on the field.
Betty is survived by her two sons, Darrell (Teena) Pritchard and Bryan (Shelley) Pritchard, a granddaughter, Meagan (Ethan) Hunter, one great-granddaughter, Baker Hunter, sister Judy Coleman, and brother, Benny Hogan; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Preceding Betty in death were her parents, and siblings Joe Hogan, Johnny Hogan, Bobby Hogan, Mary Cagle, and Luther Hogan.
Family visitation will be Saturday, July 9, from 12:00 to 12:30 followed by friend visitation from 12:30 to 2:00 at Bartlebaugh Baptist Church. Funeral services will begin at 2:00.
