Obituary

Betty Gallatin, 79, a longtime resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Monday night, October 6th, 2014. She was born December 4th, 1934 in Polk County. She was of the Christian faith.

She is preceded in death by her mother Gladys Blankenship Burger and a brother David Burger.

Betty leaves behind to cherish her memory two children one son Gregory Gallatin and daughter Duranda Clarke, four grandchildren James Gallatin, Matthew Clarke, Sarah Clarke and Eileen Clarke, one great granddaughter Kyla Gallatin, two brothers Vance Walker and Teddy Burger, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

A celebration of her life is planned for Friday, October 10th, 2014 at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road in Cleveland, TN with the Reverend Earl Moats officiating. Interment will follow in the Ball Play Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday afternoon from 2:00 PM until the 4:00 PM service time.
