Betty Faye Harbison Navarro

January 11, 1930 — January 20, 2021

Betty Faye Harbison Navarro passed away on January 20, 2021, at the age of 91 years. Betty was born January 11, 1930 in Cullman, AL to Cecil Cortez Harbison and Ester Mae Calhoun Harbison, whom has gone on to be with the Lord, with brothers Charles Harbison, Terry Harbison and Sister Jean Shipman; also a granddaughter Danielle Paige Buckelew of whom she was very close.
A native of Cullman, AL, Betty attended nursing school at Wallace State, Hanceville, AL. She lived in Gardendale, Alabama for many years before moving to Virgin Islands as a nurse and then to Cullman, AL. She then moved to North Cleveland Towers near Lee College Campus.
Betty will forever be remembered by her two daughters Donna K. Buckelew-Adams, Tammy Denise Dodson (David), four grandchildren: Blake Dodson (Sarah), Dyanna West (Jeff), Danna Ratto (Chad), and Dennis Buckelew (Cortney); seven great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and dear friends. She was said to be a super friend and confidant to all who knew her.
Betty’s favorite saying was “I Love My Jesus.” She loved animals, gardening, helping others, and sweets!

Betty was a member of Community Hall Church in Cleveland, TN. Her graveside service will be held on Sunday January 24, 2021 at 2:00pm Central at Good Hope Cemetery in Good Hope, AL.
