Arlene Morgan

Arlene "Mamaw" Morgan, 69, of Old Fort went to be with our Lord Thursday, May 9, 2019 at her home
surrounded by her loving family following an extended illness. She was born in Tellico Plains, Tennessee
and had been a resident of Old Fort and Conasauga for many years.
Arlene was preceded in death by her father, Roy Harrison; husband Cecil "Jaws" Waldroup; husband
Philip Morgan; one grandson, Charles Wade Allison.
Survivors include her mother, Carrie Harrison Graves; three sons, Dewight Waldroup (Karen) of Old Fort,
TN, Michael Waldroup (Tania) of East Ridge, TN, Bart Waldroup of Old Fort, TN; a daughter, Mona
Waldroup of Chatsworth, GA; two sisters, Edith Long (Ernest) of Conasauga, TN and Mildred Walker
(Isaac) of Tennga, GA; fourteen grandchildren, Haley Waldroup, Brittany Boyd (Nick), Cecilia Waldroup,
Gracie Waldroup, Megan Veney, Amanda Veney, Amber Vest (Grady), Bart Maverick Waldroup, Chelle
Allison, Christopher Sampson, Tosha Witt (Jeremy), Hunter Waldroup, and Carmen Waldroup; eleven
great grandchildren; four nephews; two neices; aunt's, uncles and many honorary family members.
The family would like to give special thanks to everyone that helped her during her illness. The family is
truly thankful for all the caring thoughtful friends and honorary family that loved her.
The family will receive friends Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 12:00pm (noon) for visitation at Family
Worship Center, 4271 Dalton Pike SE Cleveland, TN 37323. The memorial service will begin at 2pm with
Pastor Michael Waldroup and Pastor Isaac Walker officiating. Burial will be at the Conasauga Baptist
Church Cemetery following the memorial service.
