A D Patterson, 81, of Blairsville, GA, passed away on January 10, 2021 at Union General Hospital. He was a faithful member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Copperhill, TN. He loved hunting, woodwork, cattle farming, gardening, and operating his farm equipment.
Preceded in death by his father, Clinton Patterson; mother, Opal Rogers Patterson; brothers, J. C. Patterson, Avery Patterson, Otis Patterson, Dub Patterson, Ted Patterson, Dossie Patterson; sisters, Edith Fortenberry, Adith Everett, Fannie Mae Sanford, and Debra Mull.

Survived by his loving wife, Shirley Wylene Cochran Patterson; son, Mark (Michelle) A. Patterson; daughters, Alice Patterson, and Sandra (Stanley) Key; siblings, Frank Patterson, Barbara Ware, Wanda Cole, Mandell Southerland, and Lecia Lamb; grandson, Manuel (Tracy) Patterson; 3 great-grandchildren, Alaina, Luke, and Jacquelyn Patterson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Copperhill, TN with the service to begin at 11:00 AM. Pastor Terry Gladson, officiating and music by Roy Tipton and DeWayne Housely. Burial will be held at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with pallbearers Mark Patterson, Manuel Patterson, Jerry Boyer, Stanley Key, Bob Rothe, and Roy Tipton.
