Zuleima Maldonado

In loving memory of Zuleima Maldonado Cortes

Zuleima Maldonado, known as Sully was born September 2, 1956 in San Juan Puerto Rico to Angel Rafael Cortes and Generosa Mora. She fell asleep in death on July 15th, 2024 at the age of 67 in Cleveland Tennessee after many years of different health conditions.

Sully's natural love for people was evident in her secular work which was in different aspects of of the healthcare system. She came from a big family and she was very family-oriented, she loved her family very much but her three sons and her grandchildren had a special place in her heart. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's witnesses on July 28th, 2018 in the state of Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her father Angel R Cortes, mother Generosa Mora and brother Angel R Cortes Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories, sons Michael Cosme, Roberto Avilés and spouse and Rafen Avilés and spouse; grandchildren, Selena and Michael Cosme and beautiful Emma Sophia Aviles; brothers and sisters Egna and Leron Artis, Nelson a Cortes, Irma Rosa Cortes, Casta A Martinez Angel Javier Martinez; uncles, aunts and cousins as well as many friends.

The family will have a memorial gathering on Sunday, July 21, 2024 from 12:00 - 2:00 PM at Companion Funeral Home's Cleveland chapel. Companion Funeral Home are honored to assist the Maldonado family with these arrangements.
