Yvonne Shelby Waldo

February 5, 2002 — June 7, 2023

Yvonne Shelby Waldo, affectionately known as Vonne, was born on February 5, 2002, in Cleveland, Tennessee, and passed away on June 7, 2023, in Oneida, Tennessee. Vonne was a loving daughter, sister, mother, and friend who brought joy and light to everyone she encountered.

Vonne was preceded in death by her beloved Papaw, Bobby Shubert; her sister, Angel Waldo; her uncle, Joshua Waldo; and her aunt, Rachel Waldo. She is survived by her cherished son, Asher Grayson Phillips; her fiancé, Adrian Phillips; her parents, Joseph and Crystal Waldo; her brother, Bryce Waldo; her brothers, Alexander and Urijah Terry; her grandmothers, Patricia Shubert and Lois Parson; her Papaw, Edgar Waldo; her aunts, Michelle Shubert and Rebecca Worley; her uncles, Jody, Brian, Bobby, and Joshua Shubert, and Scotty Keith; and several very close and loved cousins, including but not limited to Auggie, Sam, KK, and Chris.

Vonne's greatest love in life was her son, Asher. She was a devoted mother who took great pride in nurturing and caring for him. Vonne's love for her son was evident in everything she did, and she was known for her unwavering dedication to his happiness and well-being.

Vonne had a passion for art, particularly drawing and coloring. She often shared her artistic talents with friends and family, creating beautiful works of art that reflected her vibrant spirit. Vonne also enjoyed doing makeup and hair, frequently sharing tutorials on her social media accounts to inspire others with her creativity and skill.

Vonne was a social butterfly who loved being surrounded by her favorite people. She had a knack for making everyone feel welcome and at ease in her presence. Vonne was also an animal lover, with a special fondness for her cat, Mowgli.

Vonne's free-spirited and spontaneous nature was a testament to her wild soul. She loved fiercely and had a unique ability to express every emotion with a simple facial expression. Vonne's strength was evident in the way she faced life's challenges with grace and resilience. She wore a smile despite it all and was a pillar of support for her younger brothers, who were her world.

Becoming a mother was the light of Vonne's life, and her love for her son was a shining example of the incredible person she was. There are no words that can fully capture the amazing light Vonne was in all our lives, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
