Yvonne Barch

Yvonne Marie Barch, a cherished mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great, great grandmother and friend, went home to be with the Lord peacefully on December 11th, 2023, surrounded by love in Alabaster, AL. Born on July 1st, 1938, in Elbert, WV, Yvonne's life was a tapestry of her strong faith, her positive, supportive attitude, dedication to her family and the simple joys of life.

Her sweetness, kindness, and generosity will be held in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She is survived by, and her legacy will continue through her sister, Joann Day, her children, Pamela Henry & Craig Yarbrough; her grandchildren, Jeromy Douglas, Ashley Douglas, David Yarbrough, Christien & Julie Douglas; her eight great grandchildren, Bransen, Anthony, Griffin, Ethan, Zoey, Robby, Emmy & Griffin, and her newest great, great granddaughter, Calliope, who she got to meet and hold.

Known for her unwavering love for her family, Yvonne's life was truly a reflection of her heart's priorities. She instilled in her children the values of dedication to family, kindness, humility, perseverance, and love. She will be profoundly missed more than words can express.

Visitation will be held on Monday, Dec. 18th, 9:30 - 11:30 am with the Celebration of Life service to follow at Companion Funeral Home in Cleveland, TN. The Funeral will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN. Pastor Robinson to officiate.

Vance Church, David Yarbrough, Christien Douglas, Ethan Douglas, Griffin Douglas, and Paul Person will be serving as pallbearers.
