Johanny Palacios Saldaña de Godoy, falleció en Cleveland, Tennessee, el 04 de septiembre de 2023, a los 54 años. Nació el 03 de abril de 1969, en el distrito de Castilla, en la Provincia y Departamento de Piura, Perú. Hija de Pedro Palacios y Ysabel Saldaña.

A Yohany o Johanny como le gustaba escribir su nombre, le encantaba servir a sus semejantes, su amor al prójimo y disposición de servicio por lo que fue llamada a servir como misionera de la Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos días en la Misión Perú Lima Sur, desde mayo de 1997 hasta diciembre de 1998, entregando todo su amor y dedicación en la obra del Señor.

Se unió en matrimonio civil con Daniel Godoy Salcedo, en la Ciudad de Piura, el 01 de marzo del 2001, Sellando su Matrimonio por tiempo y eternidad en el Templo de Lima, Perú, el 02 de marzo del 2001, fruto de su matrimonio tuvo dos hermosos hijos, Hyrum (que actualmente sirve como misionero en la Misión Argentina Neuquen) y Danielle.

Yohany fue en muchos aspectos una maravillosa esposa, siempre atenta a acompañar, alentar y sostener a su esposo, excelente madre que con amor y dedicación enseño a sus hijos a confiar íntegramente en Dios, durante todo este tiempo ella les entrego todo su amor y dedicación, le encantaba desarrollar nuevos talentos, aprendió el arte de la repostería y decoración, con lo cual complacía a su familia, era una muy alegre y divertida en cada reunión familiar y de la comunidad de la iglesia, alentando a los demás a sonreír y ser felices, fue una persona muy amorosa y servicial, entregando su tiempo en cada asignación con mucha dedicación y amor, teniendo siempre un fuerte abrazo y una sonrisa de amor sincero para con el prójimo.

Su esposo, sus hijos, hermanos, cuñados, suegra, amigos y conocidos la recordaremos siempre por su servicio y amor sincero a los demás, confiando en los convenios y promesas hechas ante Dios el Padre en el Santo Templo que algún día nos volveremos a reunir en Familia y permanecer unidos por siempre como una Familia Eterna..!

Johanny Palacios Saldaña de Godoy, passed away in Cleveland, Tennessee, on September 4, 2023, at the age of 54. She was born on April 3, 1969, in the district of Castilla, in the Province and Department of Piura, Peru. She is the daughter of Pedro Palacios and Ysabel Saldaña.

Yohany, or Johanny as she liked to write her name, loved serving her fellow human beings. Her love of neighbor and willingness to serve was why she was called to serve as a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Peru Lima South Mission, from May 1997 to December 1998, giving all her love and dedication to the work of the Lord.

She was united in civil marriage with Daniel Godoy Salcedo, in the City of Piura, on March 1, 2001. They then sealed their Marriage for time and eternity in the Temple of Lima, Peru, on March 2, 2001. The fruit of their marriage was two beautiful children, Hyrum (currently serving as a missionary in the Argentina Neuquen Mission) and Danielle.

Yohany was in many ways a wonderful wife, always attentive to accompany, encourage and support her husband. She was an excellent mother who, with love and dedication, taught her children to trust completely in God. Throughout all this time she gave them all her love and dedication. She loved developing new talents; she learned the art of baking and decorating, which pleased her family. She was very cheerful and fun at every family gathering and in her church community, always encouraging others to smile and be happy. She was a very loving and helpful person, giving her time in each assignment with great dedication and love, always having a big hug and a sincere loving smile for her neighbor.

Her husband, her children, brothers, brothers-in-law, mother-in-law, friends, and acquaintances will always remember her for her service and sincere love for others, trusting in the covenants and promises made before God the Father in the Holy Temple that one day we will meet again as a family and remain united forever as an Eternal Family!
