Woodrow William "Woody" Vestal

Woodrow “Woody” William Vestal, 74, of Tunnel Hill, GA passed away on July 30, 2017 after a long illness. He was a truck driver by trade and retired after many years of service.

He is preceded in death by his parents Woodrow and Lilly Vestal; daughter Nicole Young; granddaughter Haley Young; brother Walter Vestal; sisters Mary Vestal and Barbara Vestal.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 21 years Deborah Pritchard Vestal; children: Woodrow Vestal and Lisa Gallaher (Danny); sister Lillian Donavont (Harry); brothers: Terry Vestal and George Vestal; special niece Suzette Walker (Steve). In addition to these, he leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 12:00pm until 3:00pm at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW on Tuesday August 1, 2017. A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00pm at the funeral home on Tuesday following visitation. Interment will follow the service at Lee Cemetery.
