Winslow Carroll

Winslow Lee Carroll, 76, of Athens, passed away on October 31, 2023. He was born on November 17, 1946 in Athens to the late Archie and Dorothy (Sharp) Carroll. Winslow retired as a Truck Driver.

He is survived by his siblings, Earl, (wife, Linda) Carroll of Athens, Ralph (wife, Brenda) Carroll of Athens, Jerry Carroll of Chatsworth, Georgia, Carl (wife, Sheila) Carroll of Athens; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and special friend, Deloris Humphrey.

Winslow was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Berzilla Coleman, Nina Marney, Nancy Carroll, Patricia Robertson and daughter, Becky Pilkey.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 2:30 pm at McMinn Memory Gardens Cemetery in Athens.

The family would like to thank the Sugar Shack for all of their thoughtfulness and lots of close friends who he considered family.
