Winona Mae Howard

Obituary
Winona Mae Howard, 79, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN passed away Friday morning, February 15th, 2013 in a local hospital. Winona was born in Robbinsville, NC on May 1st, 1933 a daughter of the late John Farr and Stella Farr Ladd. She was of the Christian faith. Winona worked for many years at American Uniform Company. After retiring from there she went on to work at Wal-Mart as a greeter. She loved listening to gospel music, quilting and home canning.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband D. A. Taylor and one brother Clifford Farr.
Winona leaves behind to cherish her memory four daughters Jeannie Kendrick, Phyllis Wright, Brenda Gentry (Dowless) and Linda Taylor (Tucker Bradley), three sons Rodney Taylor (Jaylene), Joe Taylor (Diane), and Roger Taylor (Clara), one sister Loveda Brand, twelve grandchildren Jimmy Kendrick, Dewayne Longwith, Crystal Longwith, Briana Patton, Dustin Gentry, Joshua Taylor, Corey Taylor, Roger Taylor Jr., Melissa Taylor, Caroline Taylor, Brittany Taylor, and Corey N. Taylor, nine great grandchildren, and numerous other extended family members and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held on Monday night, February 18th 2013, at 7:00 PM at the Echoes of Mercy Baptist Church located at 535 Durkee Road SE, Cleveland, TN with the Reverend Daniel White officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday night from 5:00 PM until the 7:00 PM service time.
Interment and committal service will take place on Tuesday morning, February 19th, 2013 in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery.
