Wilma Jean Ware

Jean Ware, age 82 of Cleveland, departed this life on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Tennova Healthcare. Born on December 5, 1939 in McMinn County to the late Alton and Eva Watson, she was a longtime resident of Cleveland and an active member of Phillippi Baptist Church. She was retired from American Uniform and enjoyed traveling, cross stitching, reading, and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Allen Ware; granddaughter, Hilary Ware; great-great grandchild, Peanut Arp; as well as all her siblings.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Rhonda Jenkins(Randall), Jay Ware(Carla),and Jeff Ware(Jennifer); grandchildren, Jennifer Riojas(Marcos), Samantha Hyde(Josh), Meredith Herring(Josh), Madison McDaniel(Giles), Olivia Ware, ad Abagail Ware; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A Celebration of Life and Home going for Wilma Jean Watson Ware will be held at 2p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from Phillippi Baptist Church with Pastor Sammy Hooker officiating. Interment will follow in Double Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the funeral hour at the church on Wednesday.
