Willie Yevonne Higgins

Willie Yevonne Higgins, 86, of Cleveland passed away on January 23, 2020, at her residence.
She was born in Cleveland and spent most of her life here. She was a retired nurse. She was of the Pentocostal Faith and enjoyed listening to Southern Gospel music. Her hobbies included sewing, gardening, and cooking for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Claude and Jodie Defrese Holder. Brothers Doyle Allan Holder and Claude Holder, Jr. "Roe" and sister Gwendolyn Holder Sherlin.
Her husband of 36 years, William Maurice Higgins. A beloved son and daughter Shannon Maurice Higgins and Tammie Higgins Hixon. A very special Son-in-Law Donald William Vaught.
She is survived by two daughters: Sharon Mathis (Phillip) and Robin Vaught. Grandchildren Marty Carroll (Dina) , Tython Carroll (Peggy) , Lisa Carroll Clayton (Allen), Dona Vaught Leonard (Michael), Dustin Vaught (Sheryl), Brittany Vaught and Brittany Higgins. Nine Great-Grand Children and 11 Great-Great Grand Children and several neices and nephews.
The family will recieve friends from 2:00PM to 3:00PM January, 26, 2020 at Cleveland Christian Fellowship (695 S. Ocoee Street). The Celebration of Life will begin afterwards with Pastor David Riggs officiating.
Intermentent will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery with Steve Sherlin, Roy Sherlin, Rodney Watson, Arty Staton, Marty Carroll, and Michael Leonard serving as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the New Hope Pregancy Center.
