Willie Rapier

Willie Ruth Rapier, 93, of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023. Willie was born on April 2, 1930, in Cleveland to the late Walter and Lucille Link. Willie was a dedicated housewife and full-time mother. She was a devout Christian and lifelong member of Pine Hill Church of God. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking and canning. Willie loved everyone she ever met.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Richard Rapier; son, Joseph Robert Rapier; and her brother and sister-in-law, James R. and Willie Ruth Ervin; along with several brothers in law, and sisters in law.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Charlie (Angee) Rapier, Larry (Mary) Rapier, and Randy (Brenda) Rapier; her daughter in law, Connie Rapier; along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, and cousins.

The family will be receiving friends on Monday, January 8, 2024, at Companion Funeral Home of Cleveland from 4:00pm - 8:00 pm.

A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Ollis officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm prior to the service. A graveside will follow at Fort Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the Family requests that donations be made in Willie's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a church of your Choice.
