William Steve Moser

William Steve Moser, of Madisonville, TN, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at the age of 62.
Steve was born to the late Bill and Cleo (Anderson) Moser on November 28, 1956 in Sweetwater, TN. He was an avid sports fan and was heavily involved with the football and baseball teams throughout school until his graduation from Madisonville High School in 1974. He loved his Tennessee Vols, Tennessee Titans, and Atlanta Braves and was a loyal follower of the local Sequoyah Chiefs football teams over the years. Steve will be most remembered as an excellent local artist, showing his artwork at several gallery events as well as having many of his drawings displayed at various establishments, with his most prized pieces on display since the late 90s at a local restaurant in Madisonville, Donna’s Olde Town Cafe, where they can still be seen decorating the walls.
Steve is survived by his sisters, Debbie Moser Tucker and Cindy Moser Duncan; brother in law, Steve Duncan; special honorary brother, John Byrum, all of Madisonville. Nephews, Tyler Hughes of Palo Alto, CA, and Brad Tucker of Boca Raton, FL. Nieces, Angie Tucker of Knoxville, Heather Hughes of Madisonville, and Haley Hughes Cannon and spouse, Deanna Cannon of Johnson City, TN. Steve was an especially proud great uncle to Liam Arden and Hunter Hughes. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Cleo Moser, sister, Patricia Moser, grandparents, Homer and Della Anderson and Charlie and Annie Moser.
At Steve’s request, no public services will be held. He requested an intimate family celebration of life in his honor. The family would like to thank Signature Healthcare of Rockwood Nursing Home and Adoration Hospice staff for their kindness and care during Steve’s long illness.
