William Leon Powers

William Leon “Billy” Powers, 66, of Englewood, TN passed away on August 8, 2022. He was born on August 21, 1955 to the late Sammie and Geraldine Powers. Billy loved gardening, planting flowers and tomatoes and spending time with his family.

In addition to his mother and father he is preceded in death by his brothers: Danny Powers and Luke Powers and nephew Chris Powers as well as his wife Reba Powers; also preceded by his nieces Tara Rievley and Kenna Ledford.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children: Damien Powers (Eva) and Joe Powers; siblings: Debbie Cofer (Kenny), Delilah Baine (Randall), Louise Holder (Dennis), Brenda Ledford (Jim), Sam Powers (Robin), and Terry Powers (Donna); grandchildren: Brittany Powers (Donovan Grant), Wesley Powers (Nikki Guzzetti), Darcy Monroe, Caitlyn Monroe, Darla Monroe, Alex Powers, Alexia Powers, Kyler Powers, Tara Grant, Zoe Powers, and Sydney Grant.

Billy’s family will receive friends from 10am until 12pm on Thursday August 11th at Companion Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 12pm. He will be laid to rest following his service at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Decatur, TN.
