William Lawrence

William Edward Lawrence Jr. 77, of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. William was born on July 29, 1947 in Laporte, Indiana to the late Marguerite Ellis Lawrence and William E Lawrence Sr. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, boating, water skiing, watching baseball, and riding motorcycles. William was always up for a spur of the moment trip, most of the time these trips would be camping trips. He also enjoyed cooking on his grill. William had a great sense of humor and always made everyone around him laugh.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, James Marcus Spencer; and his pet companion, Harley Lawrence.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his significant other, Barbara Meister; daughter, Jenelle (Johnathan) Murphy; his grandchildren, Kyle Kenyon, and Kaley (Joseph) Savastano; and his sister, Debra (Marcus) Spencer: along with a host of extended family, and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 4, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
