William "Bill" Jackson

William (Bill) Roy Jackson passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at his home in Cleveland surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Flint, MI, the son of Roy and Thelma, on August 27, 1931.

He married Lynndora Little in Flint January 20, 1951. Bill served four years in the Air Force during the Korean War and was employed by Chevrolet Mfg. as a die maker for 38 years, retiring in 1988.

A great retirement was shared between Sage Lake, MI and Port Charlotte, FL. He and Lynn traveled to several countries and enjoyed cruises with family. Hunting and fishing were a big part of his life, and he loved being with his family. The grandkids and great grandkids liked being at the lake where he taught them to water ski and fish. After 32 years of living at the lake they moved to Cleveland, TN to be near family. Church was always important. They attended First Baptist Cleveland and were members of the T. Roy Jones Friendly class.

He was predeceased in death by his parents and two sisters Norma and Geraldine.

Surviving is loving wife of 74 years, Lynn, two daughters Judy (David) Constance and Jeanne (Larry) Siwicki, four grandsons, Jeff (Jill) Constance, Joel (Mindy) Constance, Ryan (Jessie) Byrd, Rob (Brandy) Byrd, and 10 great-grandkids.

Later there will be a graveside service and internment at Glenwood Historical Cemetery in Flint, MI.
